 On our way to Uddevalla we stopped by MagnetoZoo. We were bringing a couple of Lars's magnetos over for re-magnetizing, and did a bit of bike maintenance while we were there. Paulie noticed me watching his knucklehead with eyes gleaming and asked if I wanted to take it for a spin. How could I refuse?

.. to the winners' circle. Our own Mr. Wehwis just got a call that he'd been awarded the Kopteri magazine / Pistonhead beer recognition award, but he had vanished before it was announced. Congrats! Just goes to show that ... naah, I'm tired of making fun of Wehvis. Though he is a pinko vegetarian punk. So that makes 4 awards to our humble garage from TKS. And now Wehvis has a case of beer Juice and I can drink when he's not looking!

TKS2011 is over

This years Turku Kustom Show was cool, lots of people turned up. Really nice that so many kustoms and hot rods showed up this year. Didn't have my camera with me but I'm sure Mane/Juice will stick pics on here when they can/sober up. And speaking of them, Juice took home third place in the Custom class, Mane 3rd place in Bobbers and people seemed to dig my triumph as it took 2nd place in Choppers. First place went to Lasse Tirkkonen's chop that took three wins (HD chopper 1, Best Paint, Peoples Choice) at Norrtälje this year. Not too shabby.
