Shit happens.

“Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it.”
 - Greg Anderson

“The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.”
- Don Williams Jr.

"VITTU!!!!!!! PERKELE!!!!!! SAATANAN PASKA!!!!!!!"

Blown plugs.

Biltema. Everything they sell sucks.
One day to Tidaholm and the mysterious backfiring big flathead.
Oil belongs inside the motor. And pushrods in their tappets..
Headlight mounts need re-thinking.. vibrations suck.
When finally on the road.. Choppers with issues. Snapped clutch wire on my triumph and a ruptured gas tank on the XS. As an added bonus Mr Vehwis' pipes were rubbing against his battery.

This is why we call it Jesus Tape.. 'cuz Jesus saves.
In this pic: blown gasket, electrical failure, ruptured tank (replaced with tank from bike with electrical failure), snapped clutch cable and in the background the place where said snapped cable sent me and the triumph off-road. Quite a compilation, eh?

Meanwhile, elsewhere in Sweden... More blown plugs.
Eero's flathead hates water.
The panhead took a dive in a roundabout, went down on the left side, fucking up the clutch hub. A big thanks goes to all the cool people who helped us source parts (hub, gas tank, fuel tap..) in Tidaholm! You rule!
Mag trouble on the way back to Stockholm... Tinppa scared the poop out of a few Swedish families with his LOUD cursing.

Camping in the ferry terminal's parking garage. Juice had run out of plugs and Eeros li'l flatty had chewed up the rear cylinder, they arrived in the chase car around 5AM..
The reason Mane's pan came home in the back of the chase car.. rear sprocket bolts sheared right off..

Every now and then one has to ask why one puts up with all this

But then one remembers why.

OSC visitation

Our OSC hermanos Krisse and Segu popped in this saturday for a couple of photo shoots.

Juice lying Segu's ears off.

Then there was much merriment and rejocing. And alcohol.

I have a theory that says Krisse is actually a hobbit...

How come it always seems to rain when we get together?
Was good seeing you guys! Y'all come back now, y'hear!

I know what you did last winter

Essentials.

Tinppas tank for the early shovel. After a failed flaking I got the next try to hold.

Taping sucks if one doesn't have an artistic eye. I don't.

Black base and shading.

Added rootbeer kandy, but went a bit too dark.

After many (MANY) problems with the clear coats I got it somewhat okay.

Misa's shovel.

Juice did the taping, Misa did the painting, I just shaded the edges and helped clear it.
Katri's XS, she did the taping.

First shadings with black and some green.

The final airbrushed bases.

Let dry.
Add clear.

Final product.
Kick. Ride.

My colleague Jesse's shovel. He did the white base and gave me free rein. Decided to try my hand at some flames.

Flamed scallop.

What became of it.

Went with a different design on the other side.

After clear.

Final product.

I want YOU to wetsand.
